Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous transmission of a pilot signal by monitoring a fault signal of a reception system equipment. CONSTITUTION:A received signal from an antenna system 5 has its frequency converted and is supplied to a terminal equipment 8 including a control circuit for realizing the system. A transmitted signal from the terminal station 8 has its frequency converted and is sent from a large power transmitter 11 to the system 5. A fault signal 12 from the system 5, a fault signal 13 from a noise reducing amplifier and a fault signal 14 from a reception-frequency converter 7 are supplied to the equipment 8. A support station, while receiving a pilot signal from a reference station, monitors the fault signals 12-14 from the its own reception system equipments all the time to discriminate whether the cause of disabled pilot-signal reception originates from a fault at the reference station or its own reception-system equipments, thereby preventing erroneous trasmission of the pilot signal.
