Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of a device through performing transfer and fixation simultanously, by allowing a visible image on a latent image formation body to contact with a recording medium and transferring the image after or while said image is thermally melted. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous Si photosensitive element 10 is exposed to form an electrostatic latent image, which is made visible with toner from a developing device 15. A halogen lamp 16 is provided following the developing device 15 to heat a toner image up to 120-130 deg.C. The toner image is a fused state is transferred onto a form 18 supplied from a form cassette 17 by being pressed by a roller 19 and is fixed and the form 18 is contained in a hopper 20. Since this invension acheives fixation simultaneously by allowing the visible image on the photosenitive element to contact with a recording medium and transferring it after or while said image is metled thermally, the reduction of the size and cost by the device is possible.
