Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a pressing printer wherein bearing sections for a printing roller are formed into an approx. L-shape, and a phase difference between the bearing sections is provided so that pressing printing can be performed with the small angle of reciprocative swing motion, and the load peak torque is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: The printing roller body 3 for pressing a piece of paper to a letter surface 6a of a type wheel 6 is mounted in bearing holes having an approximately L-shape formed in bearing plates 2-1, 2-2 secured to a shaft 1 that can reciprocatively swing within an angle of α. These bearing holes having an approximtely L-shape are formed such that each bearing part 2a having a larger radius of rotation and each bearing part 2b having a smaller radius of rotation are connected through a slot. The bearing holes having an approximately L-shape of the bearing plates 2-1, 2-2 have a phase difference of θ and are fixed to the crank shaft 1. The printing roller body 3 is arranged between the bearing plates 2-1, 2-2 with a shaft 3a of the printing roller body 3 being mounted in the bearing holes having an approximately L-shape.
