Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure a phase difference with virtually no time lag by using a circuit which digitally measures zero cross time difference at every cycle, and outputs the same after subjecting to the digital to analog conversion. CONSTITUTION:Period signals e1, e2 having the two same frequencies are applied respectively to a zero cross circuit 1 and an FF2, and the square wave e5 having the pulse width proportional to a zero cross time difference is formed. This is applied to a modulated wave generating circuit consisting of an AND gate 4 and a clock generating circuit 7, whereby a signal e8 is obtained. Next, a microprocessor 8 supplied with the signal e8 operates phase differences based on modulation quantity. It is next converted 9 from digital to analog to form a staircaselike signal e10 which is outputted. In this way, the phase difference between the period signals e1, e2 is outputted with a time lag of only the processing time TD. Hence, the phase difference is measured with virtually no time lag.
