Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold stably a magnetic head supporter at a balanced position, by providing the elastic members at the right and left sides centering on the rocking of the magnetic head supporter. CONSTITUTION:A rotary yoke 9 is supported at the side of the lower face of a rotary drum main body 8 by a plate spring member 10 with the center hole 9a fitted with a play to a rotating shaft 5. Thus the yoke 9 rotates in a body with the main body 8 and at the same time has the rocking movement centering on the axis orthogonal to the shaft 5 and causing an elastic malformation of the member 10 by the function of a driving mechanism 17. Permanent magnets 14a and 14b are bonded at yoke parts 9b and 9c at both upper ends of the radius direction of the yoke 9. Furthermore magnetic heads 15a and 15b are bonded to brackets 16a and 16b respectively, and these brackets are fixed with screws toward the upper faces of the parts 9b and 9c of the yokes 9 respectively.
