Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal occurrence of undesired bubbles around a conductor, by providing a guard rail consisting of a groove, etc. to a magnetic garnet layer so that it encloses the circumference of a memory constituting pattern. CONSTITUTION:A thin magnetic garnet layer 2 is superposed on a nonmagnetic garnet substrate 1, and a conductor layer 3 having a memory constituting pattern and a terminal part 5 fetching the current is superposed on the layer 2 to form a magnetic bubble element. Then a guard rail preventing the bubble consisting of a groove 10 or a frame formed by an ion implanting is provided to said layer 2 so that it encloses the circumference of the memory constituting pattern. The depth of the groove 10 is preferably set at 0.1-1.0mum.
