Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize a water heater, to lighten it of its weight, and to facilitate installation of it, by composing vacuum, double heat collector pipe from transparent, external pipe which has one open end and an internal pipe which collects solar heat, and by installing the heat collector pipe on the roof and the like, slanting it at proper angle of degrees.
CONSTITUTION: When the water heater is used, the water from city water supply is conducted to each feed pipe 14 from a hose H through a feed control valve 19, a feed main pipe 18 and a feed header 17, and supplied to an internal pipe 2 of each vacuum, double heat collector pipe 3. The above-mentioned valve 19 is closed when the internal pipe 2 is filled up with water. In this condition, the water in the internal pipe 2 is heated by the solar heat, and when the water in the vicinity of an opening 4 at least is turned to hot water, the valve 19 is opened again to feed the predetermined amount of water from city water supply whcih is cold water. Then the hot water is pushed up by the difference of specific gravities between the cold water and the hot water, overflowing into an overflowed hot water receiver 5 from the opening 4 of double heat collector pipe 3. The overflowed hot water is transferred to a hot water tank 8 from an intade 6 through a heat insulated piping 7, reserved in the tank and used.
