Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the production loss and price of a phase angle controlling type power supply circuit using a thyrister by opening the conduction angle of the thyrister at the increase of a load to prevent the output voltage from being reduced. CONSTITUTION:If voltage obtained by comparing base voltage due to a Zener diode D5 with output voltage to control the output voltage is applied to an emitter of a transistor Q2, one-round closed circuit with negative feedback function is formed. When load current is increased and the output voltage of terminals 3 and 4 is reduced, the collector current of a comparison transistor Q1 is reduced, so that the electric conduction period of the level comparison transistor Q2 is prolonged, a thyrister SCR1 or SCR2 is conducted for longer period and large quantities of current flows into a capacitor C1. Thus, the output voltage is increased, obtaining constant voltage characteristics to maintain the voltage decided by the base voltage and resistances R1 and R2.
