Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to decrease a transmission time, by detecting the presence of an original through locating original detectors to an original set position and an original read-in position and omitting the reception/transmission of a control signal between originals through the fast feed of originals if the situation requires. CONSTITUTION:Original detectors S1, S2 are rovided at an original set position and a read-in position to detect the presence of originals. First, since an original is located at S1 and not located at S2, a fast feed pulse is produced from a circuit 8, a pulse motor M is fast-fed and an original P1 at the lowermost part is carried. Next, an original is detected at the S2 and a nonsection mode selecting switch 14 and a transmission switch circuit 19 are applied. A control circuit 4 sets a selector switch 18 to (a), and a control signal is received/transmitted from/to an opposing party via a MODEM 17, and when the preparation is finished, the selector switch is set to (b). A video signal processing circuit 7 is started to transmit one line's share of signals from a read-in device CD and the pulse motor M is carried by one line's share. When the transmission of the original P1 is finished, the motor M is fast-fed as mentioned above, and the next original is transmitted successively.
