Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve starting quality in such a way of fast heating by applying series voltage on a glow lamp when starting the engine. CONSTITUTION:With start of electric conduction to a timer 5, a relay S3 is set to work, and change-over contacts S31, S32 are changed over to terminals on the right side. Thus, a pair of battery 2, 3 are connected in series to a glow plug 1 which is heated fast by 24 volts of applied voltage. After a lapse of setting time of a timer 5, output is inverted to a low level, the change-over contacts S31, S32 are changed over to terminals on the left side, so that the battery 2, 3 are connected in parallel to the glow plug 1. This facilitates to make 12 volts of applied voltage, and to hold the temperature after rising it. The operator verifies output inversion of a relay 5 with use of a glow lamp L2, and with operation of a switch 4, a starter motor 6 is set to work.
