PURPOSE:To attach and detach freely to an engine and to prevent breakdown due to a shorting resulting from a spark by making an amplifier body annular, accommodating the amplifier body in an annular metal case having a through hole in the central part and further mounting the metal case on an insulator for a pressure- sensitive sparking plug. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier body 50 with an annular outer shape is inserted into an insulator assembly 12, and the tip of a terminal 48 is inserted into a connecting connector of the amplifier body 50. Said body is accommodated in a metal cover 52. Further, the metal cover 52 is inserted from the side of a high-voltage terminal 18 and the connector part of said amplifier body 50 is pushed in with adjustment to a terminal 48 extruding from a sparking plug body. At that time, a click 58 in the lower end part of the cover 52 is, when contacting with the upper end of a wide angle part 56 of the plug body, expands in the radius direction, and is reduced when reaching the lower part of the wide angle part 56, thereby allowing the cover 52 to be fixed to the sparking plug.
