Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform assembling easily while monitoring coupling states by performing coupling of a light emitting element and an optical fiber by using a mount provided with through-hole of a C shape in section having a slit. CONSTITUTION:A mount 1 has a through-hole 2 in a shaft part, and further it is formed of an aluminum alloy or the like of good heat conductivity into an approximately C shape having a slit parallel with the shaft part in continuation to this. A light emitting diode 4 is disposed to one end part of the mount 1, and an optical fiber 12 opposite to the light emitting part 6 of the diode 4 is disposed in the other end part by being supported by a spacer 13. These are fixed by tightening a screw 7. Hence, the fiber 12 and the part 6 are assembled while being viewed through the slit 3 by rotating the diode 4 and the spacer 13, and the work is made sure and easy.
