Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a multistylus head from being stained with toner remaining on a belt junction, by applying a resinous film, such as ''Mylar '' film, on both ends of the junction of a recording belt, and further coating a resin on this film to provide a spacer. CONSTITUTION:A resinous film 6 is sticked on the both ends of a junction 3 of a recording belt 2 not used as an electrostatic recording material, and a resin coating layer 7 is formed on the film 6. When this belt 2 having such junction 3 runs and the junction 3 comes between a multistylus head 1 and an opposite plate 4, the layer 7 serves as a proper spacer between the head 1 and the belt 2, and toner remaining on the junction 3 does not come into contact with the head 1, thus permitting the head to be prevented from staining.
