Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the spreading of smoke and an offensive odor generating at the time of cooking and to make the effective use of heat of the smoke by a method wherein the smoke and the offensive odor are treated by use of an oxidized catalyzer or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The smoke and the odor generating from a heat source 4 are adsorbed into a smoke duct 9 in the outer surface 2 of the cooking apparatus after they are sucked into a smoke duct 7 by means of a fan 8 and are then purified by the oxidized catalyzer 10. After the above process, the resultant purified gas is discharged from an exhaust port 1 and is recirculated through the heat source 4 and a cooking material to heat them.
