Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve its safety and reliability in such a way of cooling a compressor by fixing the evaporating part of a heat pipe so as not to contact the hollow part of a shaft, and by forcibly transmitting heat frying its span in the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: The evaporating part 16a on one side of a heat pipe 16 is inserted into te hollow part 4a of a shaft 4 so as not to contact the inner circumferential wall of the shaft, and the condensing part 16b on the other side is protruded outside the casing 1. Heat transmission to the heat pipe 16 is done by forcible convection according to the flow which is induced by revolution of the shaft 4 as well as the flow of oil to fry between the evaporating part 16a and the shaft 4 in the axial direction. This facilitates to agressively cool the compressor.
