Abstract
PURPOSE: An aromatic molded article, prepared by incorporating a perfume with a silicone rubber, adding an organic metallic salt thereto, and crosslinking the resultant mixture at room temperature, having improved lasting volatility, and containing the unheated stable perfume.
CONSTITUTION: A perfume is added to a silicone rubber and dispersed with stirring to give a uniform mixture. The resultant uniform mixture is then mixed with an organic metallic salt and crosslinked. For example, 15pts.wt. perfume and 2pts.wt. organic metallic salt are added to 100pts.wt. silicone rubber. 20g resultant mixture is then cast into a container and cured for about 2hr to keep the aromaticity for about one month.
