Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the removal effect of tarlike material produced and accumulated at an atomizer head by a method wherein the allowable stroke for upward movement of an inductor wick is arranged to be smaller than that of an atomizer wick in a wick type combustion equipment in which the atomizer wick and the inductor wick are detachably jointing with the one on the other.
CONSTITUTION: The inductor wick 1 and the atomizer wick 2, which are closely contacted with each other, are respectively equipped wick holders 5 and 6 continuously connected by a spring 7. In the constitution described above, the allowable stroke for upward movement of the inductor wick 1 is arranged to be smaller than that of the atomizer wick. At unloaded burning, the atomizer wick 2 is ascended, by revolving a vertical feed knob 13, to be completely exposed into an atomizing chamber 3. Thus, because the tarlike material t2 produced and accumulated at the atomizer head 2a can be exposed into the atmosphere having sufficient high temperature and oxygen, the tarlike material at the atomizer head 2a can be completely removed.
