Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent carbon sludge stuck to the inner wall of a side plate from flowing into cooling lubricant, by providing conduits adapted to lead the cooling lubricant within a rotor the outside of the casing in order that the lubrcant will not come into contact with the inner wall of the side plate.
CONSTITUTION: There are arranged a tubular conduit member 12, conduit 15 provided in a crank-pin 14, and conduits 17 and 18 disposed in a hollow axle of a rotor 1, and also provided space occupying members 20, 21 and wall member 16 within the rotor 1, and a conduit 7 communicated with the conduit member 12 is provided in a side plate 6. The cooling lubricant fed from a crank-shaft 13 reaches an inner wall along the minor axle of the rotor 1 and moves along the major axle through centrifugal forces. Furthermore, the lubricant is quided by the wall member 16 so as to flow into the space occupying member 20, 21 through conduits 17 and 18 and flow out of the conduit 12 through a conduit 7 to the outside of the casing. Thus, the lubricant will not come into contact with a inner wall of a side plate 6.
