Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the arrangement structure of a device which detects perforations of a film photoelectrically, by providing a light emitting element and a photodetecting element on the back cover side of a camera. CONSTITUTION:Perforations provided to a film 5 for film feeding or for indicating some kind of information are detected photoelectrically through a light-emitting element 6 and a photodetecting element 7. The complex structure having one element on the main body side and the other on the back cover side applied to the detection. This invention, however, allows both the elements to be provided on the back cover 2 side; each perforation part cuts off reflect light from the film, so this is utilized for the detection. Therefore, the photoelectric devices are centralized at one placed to simplify the arrangement structure.
