Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate an expensive mold having a curved surface made by engraving, by subjecting mechanical bending work to a straight blade of a rotary impeller which is cast with a simple mold to make curved blade.
CONSTITUTION: The biscuit part B of a cast straght-blade rotary impeller I' is fixed on a base board 10. Then, a pinion 23 provided at the outer circumference of a rotary member 16 which adds bending work to straight blades F' is engaged with a rack 24. A driving cylinder 25 is operated to rotate the member 16 in a direction X, and the straight blades F' are subjected to bending work with respective curved surfaces 18 of the member 16. Then, a boundary S between a biscuit part B and a shaft part 2 is cut to obtain a curved-blade rotary impeller I.
