Abstract
PURPOSE:To fix the floated wire without having a taping process and the like, and to eliminate the breaking of wire and the layer short circuit for the subject stator by a method wherein, after a dripping impregnation treatment has been performed on the stator, thixotropic insulating varnish is dripped and hardened on the coilend section. CONSTITUTION:After a winding 2 has been wound on a stator core 1, the dripping impregnation treatment is performed using insulating varnish. Then, a sufficiently thick layer is formed on the coilend by dripping thermosetting type resin insulating varnish having a thixotropic property while the stator is being rotated. Subsequently, the insulating varnish is gelatinized and hardened by applying external heating or heating by current application. Through these procedures, the floated wire can be fixed without performing a taping and lacing processes and also the covering on the surface of the coilend 3 can be made perfect.
