Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a slip angle frequency calculating device for induction motor having a small time constant, by calculating slip angle frequency by using a calculation equation of small time constant on the basis of a power source angle frequency, an effective power, reactive power, induced voltage. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of a line voltage, a line current, an induced voltage and a power source angle frequency omega0, an effective power P, a reactive power Q and a square value vm<2> of an induced voltage vm are calculated, and by putting these numbers into a calculating circuit consisting of multipliers 18a and 18, constant generating circuits 20a-20c, a signal reversing circuit 16 and a divider 20, a slip angle frequency omegas is sought. omegas is calculated by using the following equation: omegas=r2omega0MP/[(L2+M)Vm<2>-omega0ML2Q] where, M is a mutual inductance, L2 a secondary leak inductance and r2 a secondary resistance.
