Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a coarse bubble from existing in an enamel layer, by restricting the carbon content of steel, the viscosity of a glaze and burning temperature to a specific value when carrying out the enamel processing of a steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: When baking and forming an enamel layer 2 on the surface of a steel plate 1, a low carbon steel plate having a carbon content of 0.02wt.% or less is used. A glaze to be used has a high melting point and if its viscosity in a molten state is measured by FFT, it flows in 20mm or less of width and the flow length is 30mm or less. The glaze is baked retaining the highest burning temperature at 850°C or higher. This results in non existence of a big bubble 3 and a coarse bubble 4 in the enamel layer 2, in no formation of unevenness on the surface of enamel and in the formation of an excellent enamel layer.
