Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a readily usable adhesive paper, having a weak tackiness for protecting a surface and a smooth feeling in peeling without a change in adhesive force with time after the application, by adding a specific amount of a specified emulsion, etc. to a rubber latex, and coating a paper coated with a synthetic resin, etc. with the resultant mixture.
CONSTITUTION: (B) 10W50wt% liquid isoprene rubber emulsion having a molecular weight of 20,000W50,000 or a polybutene emulsion having a molecular weight of 800W1,900 or both are added to (A) one or more rubber latexes selected from natural rubber, synthetic isoprene rubber, butyl rubber and polyisobutylene rubber, and if necessary (C) 2W10wt% antioxidant and viscosity increasing agent are added thereto to adjust the viscosity to 1,000W10,000cp. The resultant latex composition is then applied to a paper coated with a synthetic resin or synthetic rubber, and the coated paper is then dried and heat-treated at 150W170°C in a short time to give the aimed adhesive paper having a weak tackiness.
USE: For protecting a printed surface of a decorative laminate or colored steel plate.
