Abstract

PURPOSE:To fix stably against variation in width or thickness of paper by providing plural split pressure rolls consisting of an inner cylinder fitted to the rotating shaft eccentrically, bearings surrounding this cylinder and an outer cylinder, thereby generating compressing force dividedly in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:In case when a rotating shaft 3 rotates at high speed, since an inner cylinder 8 is fitted to the shaft 3 eccentrically, each of split pressure rolls 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d moves up and down by twice of the extent of eccentricity theta with 90 deg. phase difference to each other at every time when the shaft makes one rotation, thereby generating compressing force dividedly in the axial direction. Since this compressing force is loaded onto a blank 7 repeatedly and the feeding speed of the blank 7 is slow, pressed parts are superposed and the whole face is pressed uniformly in the same manner as it is subjected to continuous pressing, thereby, toner 11 is fixed stably.
