Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide uniform cooling effect of a winding for a transformer by arranging a plurality of stages of disc windings between inside insulating cylinder and outside insulating cylinder, interposing a plurality of radial spacers between the respective stages of the windings, and alternately displacing blocking plugs in a winding axial direction when insulating fluid is flowed in zigzag state by the plugs for alternately blocking the fluid. CONSTITUTION:A strand conductor is wound via radial spacers 10 in the winding axial direction between inside insulating cylinder 1 and outside insulating cylinder 2, and a winding for a transformer is composed. In this manner a radial cooler 4 divided by the spacers 10, and inside and outside axial cooling passages 4 and 5 communicating with the cooler 4 via inside and outside axial spacers 11 and 12 respectively connected to the spacer 10 are produced between the respective stages of the winding 3. When these cooling passages are formed in zigzag state by inside and outside blocking plugs 7 and 8 in this construction, they are disposed in the circumferential direction of the winding, and are displaced axially of the winding.
