Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the shortage of image resolution for a solid state photoelectric transducer, by binary coding the analog signal delivered from the photoelectric transducer at the 1st and 2nd threshold levels and then synthesizing these binary coded signals. CONSTITUTION:An analog picture signal (a) supplied through a read signal input terminal 1 is binary coded (b) by a comparator 2 having a threshold level of VRA and drifted toward white and also binary coded (c) by a comparator 3 having a threshold level of VRB and drifted toward black. Then a white information of a low level is formed at a NAND gate 11 and then synthesized with a white information of a high level through an AND gate 7 to be transmitted through an output terminal 13 in the form of a compensated picture signal.
