Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a quantitative measurement for the shift degree of convergence, by giving a forcible right-left deflection to the beam to detect the change of luminance by means of a photoelectric transducer and measuring the time until an input of a marker. CONSTITUTION:The electron beam is deflected right and left by a saw-tooth magnetic field caused from a magnetic field generating coil 4, and thus the peak of voltage level is detected in the form of the output of a photoelectric transducer 6. The output of the transducer 6 is supplied to a time measuring circuit 9 through an amplifier 8. Thus the circuit 9 obtains the time t up to the position of 1/2 peak value of the output of the transducer 6 from the rise point of the magnetic field generated from the coil 4, i.e., the time from the initial position of a red cross hatch line 7 through an input of the line 7 to the transducer 6. Then the cross hatch pattern is changed to green and blue by a pattern generator 12 to obtain the time (t) in the same way. The time (t) is supplied to an arithmetic processing circuit 10 to be used for a calculation of the shift degree of convergence.
