Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a transformer compact and control the size of an output by a method wherein AC power is modulated with voltage transformation and the power is demodulated in a phase different from a control signal at the time of the modulation. CONSTITUTION:The voltage (a) of an AC power source 18 is modulated (b) with a modulator 14 and transformed with a transformer 12. Further the voltage is again modulated with the modulator 14 and a demodulator 16 after displacing their phases i, ii, iii, iv by DELTAT. By so doing, the transformer 12 is allowed to undergo voltage transformation using a high frequency and thus can be made compact. In addition, the volume of an output voltage can be adjusted by controlling phase displacement DELTAT.
