Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid a change of the sound pressure properties of a low band although a speaker is driven for a long time and with a large input, by sealing up the tip of a voice coil bobbin to form an air damper which is inserted in series into a damper on a machine equivalent circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the tip of a voice coil bobbin 4 is covered with a cover 11, the air in the bobbin 4 does not flow outside since the air resistance is large in terms of AC (a state under which the bobbin 4 goes in and comes out the center pole 1) in the gap between the inner surface of the bobbin 4 and the pole 1. As a result, a kind of air damper is formed. In this case, the compliance C1' caused by the air damper is inserted in series to the compliance C1 of a damper 9. Accordingly the C1' never changes although the damper 9 wears to increase the C1 and as long as the air pressure does not vary. As a result, the speed of the air flowing to the mass MC of vibration system never becomes higher than a constant value.
