Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the corrosion resistance and adhesion by treating the surface of a steel plate with abrasive grain powder composed of metallic salts of phosphoric acid and polyphosphoric acid and forming an oxide film having a prescribed thickness or above.
CONSTITUTION: A degreased and washed steel plate is subjected to surface sweeping or liq. honing with abrasive grain powder composed chiefly of metallic phosphate and metallic polyphosphate in the form of simple or mixed powder. An oxide film having ≥100Å thickness is then formed on the plate surface in a state where much abrasive grain powder is contained. By this method a homogeneous coat with superior adhesion is formed, and the corrosion resistance and adhesion of a coated film are enhanced.
