Abstract

PURPOSE:To make connecting operation easier and to make an attaching space smaller, by a method wherein a connecting duct through which connecting leads pass is formed in a -shape and after two chambers are installed at a prescribed position the leads and duct are connected at the side walls of the two chambers which are parallel to the direction of the arrangement of the chambers. CONSTITUTION:One bent and of a connecting duct 8 formed in a approximate -shape is an expansion joint 8a and at the straight middle section of the duct 8 in the side face opposite to the bending an aperture is provided and closed by an oil- tight cover 8b. Shielded barrier insulating connecting leads 9 pass through the duct 8 and are fixed by fixtures 10. These connecting leads are also formed in a -shape like the connecting duct. Thus the oil-tight cover 8b of the connecting duct 8 is removed and the connecting leads 9 are inserted and fixed, then the oil-tight cover 8b is put on and the both ends are covered with protective coverings for transportation so that the whole configuration can be transported as one unit. Then after oil chambers 3A, 3B are arranged and installed, the oil chambers 3A, 3B and the both ends of the connecting duct 8 or the both ends of the leads 9 and the lead wires are easily connected at the side walls of the chambers.
