Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve very accurate setting of parts without increasing their own precision by means of strap rings provided with protrusions of a tapered gradient shape fitted in the rectangular grooves of the plural number of vane that form a cavity resonnator. CONSTITUTION:A magnetron anode frame is formed with the plural number of radial vane 2 arranged on the cylindrical section 1a of an anode 1 and strap rings 30, 40 fixed to every other vane. When the vanes 2 and the strap rings 30, 40 are fixed together, the protrusions 30a, 40a of the strap rings 30, 40 are formed in a tapered shape along the grooves of the vanes 2 and driven in the grooves of the vanes 2 due to revolution of the strap rings 30, 40 to one side while forced to make wedging action to fix those rings. As a result, even when the dimensional allowances for the grooves of the vanes 2 and the strap rings 30, 40 are not so strict, very accurate setting of parts can be achieved without generation of any defective ones.
