Abstract

PURPOSE:To catch broadcasting electromagnetic waves surely without slowing down the seep speed and to tune to an optimum tuning frequency surely, by drawing back the sweep after the stopping of automatic sweeping of a tuning frequency and correcting the overshooting of auromatic sweep. CONSTITUTION:A signal starting automatic sweep is transmitted from a switch means 1 to an automatic sweep controlling circuit 2, an up-pulse is transmitted from the controlling circuit 2 to an up-down counter 3, and the output of up-count at the counter 3 is converted into a DC voltage at a D/A converter. A voltage converted at the converter 4 is applied to a varactor diode of an electronic tuner 5 to sweep the tuning frequency of the tuner 5 to high frequencies. The sweep is stopped when the sweep comes to a prescribed point of an S-curve of an AFC voltage to actuate an automatic frequency fine adjusting circuit 6. In this case, if the adjustment is shifted to high frequency side, the overshooting is compensated with a count-down means, allowing to catch the broadcast electromagnetic waves surely without slowing down the sweep speed.
