Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease signal transmission time, by charging a signal line to an inverting potential. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting a signal from a transmission circuit 11 to a reception circuit 14, first the circuit 11 is made to a high impedance and a signal line 13 is charged with a charging circuit 12. In the circuit 12, a transistor (TR)Q13 turns on when a gate input P is active, the input and output of an inverter gate 15 are in short-circuit, and the signal 13 is charged to Vt. Next, the gate input P is inactive, the TRQ13 turns off, and signal transmission is started. The signal line is charged to a potential Vt, the circuit 11 turns on TRs when high level is transmitted and the signal line 13 is charged to Vc-VT', and when low level is transmitted, the TRQ12 is turned on and the signal line 13 is discharged from the Vt to 0 volt.
