Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a metallic cladding easily and quickly on the surface of a steel plate of specific roughness by superposing a metallic foil of specific thickness on said surface and screwing down these. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 11 unrolled from a coil 1 is sprayed with grids or the like having sharp angles on its surface by a blasting device, whereby it is formed with another patterns of 50-150mu toughness. Thence, it goes through an air spray device 3 then to a pinch roller 5. In the pinch roller 5, a metallic foil 81 of corrosion resistance, a low yield point and 150-300mu thicknesses is superposed on the steel plate 11 and is stuck by pressure on the surface of the steel plate 11 by a rolling mill 6, whereby the foil is anchored and adhered to the surface of the steel plate 11 treated with the anchor patterns. Thence it is coiled together with the steel plate 11 on a take-up reel 7.
