Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve sufficient effciency and to prevent heat deterioration of parts such as a catalyzer in an exhaust system by providing a control device which reduces supercharged pressure in response to the output of an exhaust gas temperature sensor. When the exhaust gas temperature is higher than the predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: A controller 14 is provided, together with a comparator 14a, a set voltage generator 14b and an electromagnetic valve driving circuit 14c, which make response to the output of exhaust gas temperature sensor 12 to reduce the supercharged pressure when the exhaust gas temperature is higher than the predetermined temperature. The output from a temperature sensor 12 is led to the comparator circuit 14a in form of a voltage signal A in proportion to the exhaust gas temperature. Hereupon, since the set voltage takes the form of a constant voltage B, the comparator 14a compairs the voltage A with the voltage B and the output voltage C is generated when the signal A is higher than the signal B. Then, this output is fed into the circuit 14c, where the electromagnetic valve driving voltage D is generated, an electromagnetic valve 11 is opened, then a part of exhaust is led to by-pass 10. Consequently, the supercharged pressure is lowered from the condition represented by a straight line E to that by F, because the driving power of a supercharger 8 is lowered.
