Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the interference between disk reproducers which are set close to each other with simple constitution, by forming the outer case of the reproducer with a radio wave absorbing material. CONSTITUTION:An outer case of a disk reproducer consists of a dielectric material 15 that functions as an absorber layer of radio waves and an electric conductor layer 14 provided on the surface of the material 15. The thickness of the absorber layer 15 is set so that a phase difference of 1/2 wavelength is obtained between the reflected electric wave sent from the surface of the layer 15 and the radio waves that are reflected on the surface of the layer 14 after passing through the layer 15 and emerge on the surface of the layer 15 after passing again through the layer 15. The both radio waves are eliminated by the offset of phases. As a result, the radio waves radiated from a disk, etc. are absorbed into the outer case to perfectly prevent the interference between the disk reproducers.
