Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the mass-productivity and the reliability, by the polarization through the use of a DC power supply, after sticking a piezoelectric porcelain which is not polarized yet with adhesives near the node of oscillation. CONSTITUTION:A ground terminal 5, output terminal 6 and input terminal 7 are implanted at a terminal plate 3 and a metallic tuning fork 1 and the ground terminal 5 are fixed at a coupling section 4 by welding or the like. A piezoelectric porcelain 2 of nonpolarization is stuck and fixed near the node of oscillation of the metallic tuning fork 1 with adhesives, and after a lead 8 is connected between each one of the input and output terminals 7, 6 implanted on the upper surface of the terminal 3 and one of the porcelain 2, polarization is made by applying (+) or (-) polarity of voltage to the input and output terminal and (-) or (+) polarity of it to ground from the DC power supply.
