Abstract
PURPOSE:To speed up fixation by using a resin film layer of fluororesin containing 1-25wt% carbon fluoride. CONSTITUTION:For a resin film layer formed around the external surface of a metallic roller, fluororesin containing 1-25wt% carbon fluoride is used. The said carbon fluoride is an inorganic high polymer represnted by (CF)n considering of carbon and fluorine, and is also solid fluoride obtained by making gaseous fluorine react on raw-material carbon, such as natural graphite, graphite fiber, coal coke, charcoal, caking-agent carbon, and carbon black; and material obtained by adding the solid fluoride to fluororesin is applied around the roller to improve the nonadhesion of the fixing roller surface and the wear resistance.
