Abstract
PURPOSE:To mix additives uniformly with a high viscosity slurry by beforehand mixing the additive and the liquid constituting the high viscous slurry and injecting the mixed liquid into the high viscous slurry. CONSTITUTION:At the time of mixing a small amt. of an additive into a large amt. of a high viscous slurry, the additive C and the liquid A constituting the high viscous slurry are beforehand mixed, and the mixed liquid (A+C) is injected into the high voscisus liquid (A+B). Right after this, the 1st stirring is carried out with a stirrer 12, after which the 2nd stirring is carried out with a stirrer 14. Then, the additive can be adsorbed continuously and uniformly on the surfaces of the suspended particles in the high viscous slurry, whereby the cohesion between the particles is prevented and the settling and accumulating of the particles are decreased.
