Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a dispersion stabilizer which is good in dispersibility and does not form hard cake by crosslinking a noionic surfactant added with active hydrogen and alkylene oxide by means of a crosslinking agent.
CONSTITUTION: ≥2 kinds of alkylene oxides such as ethylene oxide and propylene oxide are added in the form of blocks to a compound having ≥2 active hydrogen atoms in a molecule such as ethylene glycol, whereby a nonionic surfactant of 500W45,000 average mol.wts. is obtained. The compound prepd. by crosslinking this further with a crosslinking agent such as polyhydric isocyanate compound or polyhydric epoxy compound, or the anionic compound prepd. by anionizing the hydroxyl groups remained in said compound is used as the stabilizer for the aqueous dispersion of fine powder. Then, the dispersion system of fine powder which does not form hard cake after long-term storage is obtained.
