Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an automatic ion exchanging and separating device by interposing a flow passage selector to the outlet of an ion exchanger resin column, connecting a pipe provided with a liquid detector, and feeding comporessed gas to the pipe through this selector.
CONSTITUTION: In an ion exchanging and separating device having an ion exchanging resin column 10, a flow passage selector 11 and in succession a pipe 12 are provided to the outlet of the column 10, and a liquid detector 13 is provided en route of this pipe 12 or the other end. Compressed gas 17 is fed into the pipe 12 via the selector 11. Since the outflow rate of intended components can be made always constant in value in separating the inteded components from test solutions, the ion exchanging and separating are accomplished automatically.
