Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a multi-layer film of good quality by utilizing thermal energy of the film, by coating or spraying on high-temperature surface of a thermally plastic molten resin film a liquid or powdery substance having a function different from the resin.
CONSTITUTION: A thermally plastic resin, such as polyethylene, etc., is extruded as a molten film from a T die at 195°C by using such an equipment as an extruder, and when the extruded film came out to approximately 10 centimeters from the die still held at the high temperature (the film temperature is to be 183°C), powder of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate is uniformly sprayed at the rate of 10 grammes per square millimeter, and by doing so, a thermally adhesive multi-layer film is obtained.
