Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled ink having improved stability for the lapse of time causing no clogging in nozzle parts, obtained by dissolving a water-soluble dye shown by a specific structural formula and having not more than a specific amount of the content of inorganic substance and a wetting agent in water.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A water-soluble copper-phthalocyanine tetrasulfonic acid dye shown by the formula [sulfo group is alkali metal salt, organic amine salt (e.g., triethylamine salt, etc.)], having ≤15wt% content of inorganic substance (e.g., sodium chloride, etc.) in the dye, and (B) a wetting agent [both (i) a pyrrolidone, carboxylic acid amide and preferably (ii) a polyalkylene glycol are used] are dissolved in water, to give the desired ink. Preferably the amount of the component A is 1.5W4wt% the amount of the component i is 1W40wt%, and the amount of the component ii is 0.1W10wt% based on 100pts.wt. ink.
EFFECT: Colored images having improved color reproducibility can be obtained by using both the titled ink and yellow Magenta ink.
