Thus, the opposing terminal code stored in a memory 14 in advance is read out, the mnemonic of opposing terminsl to be keyed in and the state of opposing terminals are displayed on a display 9 on an operating panel. If the state of opposing terminals only is desired to be known, the state inquiry code of opposing terminals is keyed in through the operation of the ten key 8 and whether the opposing terminal is in receptionable state is displayed with a code to be determined on the display 9.
