Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the rising characteristics of the initial output voltage of a self-excited generator and to simplify the securing work of a ferromagnetic material by securing the powder of ferromagnetic material to the magnetic pole surface of a field core with adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Many field cores 12 are engaged with a rotor shaft 11, and field coils 16A, 16B are wound on the coil winding part of the core 12. Powders 18A, 18B of ferromagnetic material, e.g., barium ferrite, strontium ferrite, etc. are mixed, for example, with thermosetting adhesive, and the mixture is coated on the entire of or on a part of the outer peripheral surface of the poles 12A, 12B of the core 2, and is thermally cured and secured. In this manner, the ferromagnetic material can be stabilized, by once magnetization, in the residual magnetism, and it is not necessary to coat the synthetic resin for preventing the rust on the outer periphery of the poles.
