Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When raw water is discharged into the rotary drum 1 through a hose H and the introducing pipe 15, raw water passes through the claming plates 24, 25 of the water force damping device 23, and quietly flows into the rotary drum 1 without flying up deposits. The raw water entering into the rotary drum 1 passes through a notch of a horizontal partition plate 18A, and flows to the left from the right between a side plate 21, one part floats in space betwen the horizontal partition plate 18 in the process, and the solid matter in the raw water precipitates by the action of gravity at that time. Since a precipitation promotor 17 rests at all times, water stagnating between the side plate 21 is not affected by the revolution of a spiral blade 6, and kept calmly. Thus, the efficiency of separation of particles, etc. is improved.
