Abstract

PURPOSE: To coat a liquid material uniformly and in a smooth surface shape without a dying process by successively forming inside air, fuel gas and outside air nozzles around a liquid material supply nozzle at a central section of a spray coating nozzle in ring-shaped forms from the inside.
CONSTITUTION: The pressurized liqiud material is jetted from the liquid material supply nozzle 2 of the spray coating nozzle 1, and pressurized air is supplied from the internal and external air nozzles 3, 5. Fuel gas is jetted from the fuel gas nozzle 4 together with said operation while burning the fuel gas. Consequently, the liquid material is microminiaturized by internal air from the nozzle 3, and blown against the surface of a blank by a circumferential injection air current while being heated and dried in a flame. In this case, the internal air functions as heat insulation to the liquid material besides the miniaturizing action of the liquid mateial. Exteranl air prevents the escape of the heat of the flame to the outside. The material can further be miniaturized by making a diameter of a nose of the nozzle 2 smaller than an inside diameter of the nozzle and applying high pressure to the material.
