Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the variation of external appearances of a timepiece, by setting a timepiece body into a pair of appearance frames which can be freely folded and securing the free turning of the timepiece body toward the circumference of the appearance frame. CONSTITUTION:A semicircular cut is formed to each of appearance frames 1a and 1b made of a molded roduct of synthetic resin, and these two frames are butted together to constitute a fitting hole 4 of a timepiece body 2. At the same time, disk- shaped attachment pieces 5a and 5b are provided in a body at both side ends opposite to the frames 1a and 1b, respectively. The outside face of the piece 5a is at the same level as the appearance face of the frame 1a; and the outside face of the piece 5b is positioned more inside than the outside face of the frame 1b to be piled on the rear face of the piece 5a. Both pieces 5a and 5b are connected rotatably with a rotary shaft 6, and the frames 1a and 1b can be folded into two parts centering on the shaft 6. A variety of forms are possible as shown in the diagrams by turning the frames 1a and 1b plus the body 2.
